Overview
The The SIEMENS QRA2M high-sensitivity ultraviolet flame detector (UV eye) relies on the 190–270nm ultraviolet spectrum to identify flames. It is not affected by sunlight or the red light from the refractory bricks in the furnace. It is equipped with a dual-electrode vacuum ultraviolet phototube. The detection response is fast. It only supports intermittent burners. It is equipped with accessories such as the fixing flange and fixture AGG05/AGG07. The universal adjusting joint can be used for installation. Installation method: direct screw mounting on the burner observation port, and with the universal joint, the detection angle can be finely adjusted.

- Only intermittent burners can be used. It is strictly prohibited to operate continuously for 24 hours without interruption.
- The product design does not have an internal self-check shading mechanism. During continuous long-term operation, it is impossible to automatically verify whether the UV lamp tube has failed. There is a potential safety hazard of incorrect flame judgment.
- The rated lifespan of the internal ultraviolet photoelectric tube is only 10,000 hours. Continuous illumination will rapidly reduce the sensitivity and cause premature damage.
3.Can QRA2M detect the infrared light from sunlight and the refractory bricks in the furnace?
The No.
The QRA2M only receives the ultraviolet band specific to flames in the range of 190 to 270 nm. It has no response to infrared and visible light emitted by sunlight, incandescent lamps, or refractory bricks in the furnace with high temperatures. Therefore, it will not generate false fire signals and has strong anti-interference capabilities.
4.What material is used for the QRA2M casing and what are its anti-static properties?
The The main base is made of engineering plastic, and the surface of the shell is treated with a metalized coating (metal film). The outer layer features a golden conductive metal layer, and the tail end is a black plastic base. The metallized conductive coating can quickly dissipate static electricity.
