More than 16 require remote I/O, such as the 1769-AENTR (EtherNet/IP) adapter. A single adapter can carry 16 modules, and the system has no hard limit; or upgrade to 1769-L35E (local 32 modules).
2.One of the 1769-L33ER dual EtherNet/IP ports cannot communicate. What are the common reasons?
- Physical layer failure: The network cable is damaged/loose, the crystal head has poor contact; the port speed/duplex mode does not match the switch port (such as one end is adaptive and the other end is forced to 100M full-duplex); the corresponding port of the switch is faulty or not enabled.
