Overview
1756-OF8H is an 8-channel HART analog output module of the ControlLogix series. It has 8 mutually isolated output channels and supports multiple signal types, including ±10V, 0-10V voltage signals and 4-20mA, 0-20mA current signals, with a signal resolution of 15-16 bits. At 25℃ and the HART function is turned off, the voltage output accuracy is better than 0.1% of the range, and the current output accuracy is better than 0.15% of the range. Rack mountable, suitable for terminal block housings such as 1756 – TBNH or 1756 – TBSH. The operating temperature range is 0 – 60°C and the storage temperature is – 40°C to 85°C.

FAQ:
1.All 8 channels of 1756-OF8H support the HART protocol. How much impact will it have on the accuracy and response time of the output signal after turning on the HART function on a single channel?
- Accuracy: HART uses the FSK method to superimpose digital signals without changing the analog signal reference. The accuracy still maintains voltage <0.1% of the range and current <0.15% of the range (25°C).
- Response time: The current signal is extended from <23ms to <37ms; the voltage signal response time has no change (<8.5ms), and the delay meets the real-time requirements of industrial control.
2.1756-OF8H adapts to 1756-TBNH terminal block. Is it compatible with third-party terminal blocks?
1756-OF8H is compatible with some compliant third-party terminal blocks:
- The interface is a 20-pin plug-in type, matching the module pin definition; wire gauge 14-22 AWG, rated voltage 300V, current 10A.
- Mechanical dimensions adapt to the installation space and fixing methods of the 1756 series.
- Compatibility of special models such as Phoenix FLKM 14-PA-AB/1756/EXTC is guaranteed.
